Dear Participants,

This is to present you with a joint invitation to attend the EFDI / DIA Bosnia and Herzegovina event in autumn this year, the EFDI Annual General Assembly and International Conference drawing a special attention to celebration of the
20th Anniversary of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Closed EFDI working group meetings and EFDI Annual General Meeting are to start on 25th Sept and 26th September 2019 respectively, after which followed with the International Conference on Friday, 27th of September 2019.
The whole event will take place in the NOVOTEL Sarajevo Bristol Hotel. In attendance, we expect around 110 banking industry and deposit insurance experts from different countries, representatives from national central banks, national supervisory authorities.

The main theme of the Conference is “Deposit Insurance in Europe – Redrawing the Map”. The three panels will explore how do the candidate countries progress with the EU Acquis (Session 1); a topical discussion on the review of DGSD between EU regulators and DGS practitioners (Session 2) and a stock taking of EFDI’s initiatives to unite practitioners’ knowledge for shaping its industry standards (Session 3) and the aftermath of Brexit for EU DGSs (Session 4).

You are welcome to participate in the 3-Day Event, explore, learn, exchange and discuss together with us the most interesting actualities in Europe  on 25-27 September 2019.
