Savings in the financial safety network of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the occasion of the Savings Day, representatives of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the panel entitled “Savings in the financial safety network of Bosnia and Herzegovina” at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mostar. In addition to representatives of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina participants in the panel were Jelka Miličević, Deputy Director of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Igor Bilandžija, a member of the Board of Sparkasse Banka BiH. Moderator of the panel was prof. Ph.D. sc. Igor Živko. Panel discussed importance of savings in the banking system, safety of savings and depositors’ confidence in the banking system, as well as importance of having an appropriate financial safety network.
