On September 25th, 2018 the Management Board of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has appointed the new management of the Agency comprising of:
Krešimir Šoljić – Director of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
MA Alma Kešo – Director of Sarajevo Branch Office of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Velimir Kukobat – Director of Banja Luka Branch Office of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Management of the Agency is appointed for a period of five years, and took over the duty from 1 October 2018.

On 23rd Jan 2018, an interview with Mr. Josip Nevjestić, Director of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was published on the KLIX.BA portal. In the title as well as in the text, the following was published: “Due to the collapse of” Bobar “and” Pavlović “bank, BAM 140 million was paid from the Deposit Insurance Fund”.
On that occasion, a gross mistake was made and it refers to the allegations that one of the two failed banks is Pavlović banka a.d. Bijeljina.
Nowhere in the interview did Mr. Nevjestić mention any name of the failed bank, especially Pavlović banka a.d. Bijeljina that functions and works smoothly. The published interview was taken over by some media (TV 1…) and the transmission of incorrect information can cause damage to the bank and the bank’s depositors. Pavlović banka a.d. Bijeljina operates properly and is a member of the deposit insurance program in BiH banks.
