Banking Agency of Republika Srpska has appointed a Provisional Administrator in Bobar banka a.d. Bijeljina. Within 60 days of his appointment, the Provisional Administrator is obligated to recommend to the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska the measures referred to in Article 113 of the Banking Law of Republika Srpska, respectively whether to revoke operating licence, or go for rehabilitation of the Bank, sale of the part of the assets or acquisition or merger with another bank.
If one of the possible measures under Article 113 of the Banking Law of Republika Srpska shall be withdrawal of the license, the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with Article 12.2.3 of the Law on Deposit Insurance, shall complete all reimbursements of insured deposits within 60 days from the date of revocation of license.
The maximum amount of an Insured Deposit, including any accrued interest, to be reimbursed by the Agency per Depositor per Member Bank shall be the Eligible Deposit less legal or contractual debt owed to the Member Bank by the Depositor up to KM 50,000. Interest is calculated until the date of revocation of the operating license.

Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska with its Decision no. 03-1471/2014 of 23rd December 2014 revoked operating license to Bobar Banka a.d. Bijeljina.
Within its statutory authorities, the Management Board of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina with its Decision no. 01-1-01-1-518/3-14 of 23rd December 2014 has determined the termination of membership in the deposit insurance program for Bobar Banka a.d. Bijeljina.
As the legal obligation for the pay-out of insured deposits occurred, the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall pay-out the insured deposits to depositors and savers (natural and legal persons) of Bobar Banka a.d. Bijeljina no later than 60 days from the date of revocation of operating license from the given bank.
Pay-out will be made through the Agent Bank – UniCredit bank a.d. Banja Luka and depositors will be notified about beginning of reimbursement both individually and through the media.
