Conference shall be organize by European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) and Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DIA B&H). Support in organization is given by EBRD, USAID, KfW, GTZ and Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the Official Gazette of BiH no 76/05, published is the Decision on the Level of Insurance Premium Rate for 2006 in amount of 0,3% p.a. calculated to the basis prescribed by the Law on Deposit Insurance in Banks of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the Official Gazette of BiH no 71/05 published is the Decision about Criteria for Banks’ Participation in the Deposit Insurance Program with the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
By signing the Contract on Deposit Insurance in Banks of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 1 July 2005, Hypo Alpe Adria Bank A.D. Banja Luka became the 22nd Member Bank of the deposit insurance scheme.
Changes to the Law on Deposit Insurance in Banks of Bosnia and Herzegovina in regard to the deposit insurance limit increase to KM 7.500,00 were published in the Official Gazette of BiH no 18/05 on 4 April 2005. The Law became effective on April 12, 2005.
Changes to the Law Deposit Insurance in Banks of Bosnia and Herzegovina in regard to the deposit insurance limit increase to KM 7.500,00 were approved at the meeting of House of People on 22 February 2005, and it will become effective as of the day of publishing in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the official merger between the HVB Bank d.d. Sarajevo and Central Profit banka d.d. Sarajevo into the HVB Central Profit banka d.d, there were changes made in regard to the “Member Banks” as of 1 Oct 2004.
