Due to the merger between Zagrebacka banka dd Mostar and Universal banka dd Sarajevo into UniCredit Zagrebacka banka dd Mostar corrections were made also in the web site under the section “Member Banks”

Contract was signed between the Balkan Investment Bank a.d. Banja Luka and Deposit insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Contract was signed by Mr. Saulius Zostautas, Director of the Bank, and Mr. Josip Nevjestic, Director of the Agency, by which this bank has become member of the deposit insurance scheme.

“The Banks” magazine (commercial magazines d.d. Sarajevo) has awarded the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the “GOLDEN BAM” for extraordinary contribution in the bank consolidation and restoring of the public confidence into the banking system.

On the 18th meeting of the Management Board of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on 20 May 2004, two new banks: ABS banka d.d. Sarajevo and Nova banka a.d. Bijeljina were admitted into deposit insurance membership.
