Visit to students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Mostar

In order to strengthen public awareness about deposit insurance, on the occasion of the International Savings Day, the DIA held a lecture at the Faculty of Economics, University of Mostar for the students of fourth year on October 28th 2021 about importance of deposit insurance as part of the financial safety network, its basic elements, as well as the challenges in establishing an adequate deposit insurance system. The Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue with such and similar activities in the coming period in order to point out the importance of protection of insured deposits in banks and thus contribute to financial stability.
